Branding goes much deeper than a logo and a letterhead. A company's brand is an all encompassing experience that should be visually constant at every touch point.

Citrus Diner | Eat Good Feel Good from Joseph Gonzalez on Vimeo.

I had a great time working on this brand for Citrus Diner. The overall goal was to brand this breakfast and lunch restaurant as a fresh and fun alternative to your typical family style restaurant. I designed everything from the logo to the menu to signage, photography and custom type.

The Center for Visual and Performing Arts

The Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster, IN has been in business for 20 years. Along with their 20th anniversary, we created a whole new look for the Center. The goal of the project was to position the Center as a destination facility. The project covered everything from new collateral to way finding to outdoor graphics to a new marquee.

Sage wanted their new identity to reflect the modern, clean and sexy American-Italian food that they would be serving. They referred to Sage as a women and their food like jazz. The print pieces all have a very cohesive theme and the use of the sage leaves are sprinkled throughout. The website was formatted to fit the overall look but is a cargo collective site. It was great working with their team to get this project done and out the door.

The Global Leadership Summit is the Willow Creek Associations annual leadership event. The event draws more than 100,000 attendee world wide and is translated and simulcasted in multiple countries. I was chosen to design the conference identity and visual brand for the 2010 event. The look I created was to be carried out throughout all materials and collateral for the event. The Willow Creek team and Firebone worked on the creative direction as well as using the look I created and applied it to the other materials. The outcome was very different then the previous year and helped showcase the fact that the Summit is a global event.

American Red Cross

This years challenge materials were designed to meet multiple goals. The brand had to be versatile enough to be used across may platforms and uses. With this in mind I designed the look and feel of this years event to be both professional and clean with a gritty overtone. The end result speaks for itself. Blues, Jazz and Arts Festival - Munster, IN
/ (1 of 1)

I was picked to be the annual artist for the Munster festival. The duties consisted of designing the event poster and materials as well as a public mural. The two different 8 foot mural were illustrated and supplied for the public to color in, at the two day event. The theme of the festival was "Going Green" so the imagery and graphics all supported that concept.
