Everything you need to know about your shoot

Thinking about booking your next session with Blackbean Photography? Or booked already? Then this section is for you.

Here you can find all the information you'll need for your shoot. If you still have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Our goal is give you a great experience from the time you visit our site to the time you download your photos.

What makes you different then other photographers?

I am natural light lifestyle photographer, meaning I don't use a of ton's fancy flashes and my photos aren't strictly posed ("kneel on one knee and put your fist on your chin") Being a lifestyle photographer means that my photos are about catching my clients in an action or movement. I do offer direction and guide my clients to interact with their environment but its never to do a certain movement or pose.  I am also a designer so my eye is trained to see things differently then a classically trained or self-taught photographer. My style leans toward bright colorful images. As you shop around for a photographer look at their body of work and ask yourself if their style fits with what you are going for. There are tons of great photographers in NWI so I'm glad you've found me.

How to book your session?

Book your session through blackbeanphotography@yahoo.com, the contact section of this site or through Facebook on our page. Be sure to include the type of shoot you are looking for, some dates and times. (Pricing is under each section)

You booked your session now what?

Once you've booked your session we will reach out to you to go over details and what you aim to get out of your shoot. Each type of shoot comes with its own unique set of circumstances. We will do our best to go above and beyond to meet your needs.

So what's a session like?

No matter what type of session you are doing they will be fun, fast pace and easy going. Expect to laugh a lot and relax. That's standard for each session and we don't charge extra for that. Sessions last between 1-2 hours.

I see the price per session, but how much are prints?

My session prices cover our communication back and forth to get the shoot scheduled, travel time to the location(s), shooting time, editing time and final communication to get you your photos. I don't offer prints but I can give you my source that does prints. This makes it cheaper for the client and also frees me up to shoot and edit more. It's a win, win.

How do I get my photos?

I provide final edits via a digital download. Or a dvd for an additional $10. The digital download is fast and free and you will have files immediately on your computer so you can share them, order prints or send to love ones. A dvd will need to get mailed or picked up.
